Callanetics® with Jacquie Robertson
I started teaching Callanetics in October of 2006 and launched my first classes at The Falkirk Stadium. Over the last 10 years many students have enjoyed and benefited from the incredible effects that Callanetics can offer – both physically and mentally.
The creator of Callanetics, (Callan Pinckney) was a former ballet dancer recovering from a spinal injury when she developed a series of exercises which allowed her to exercise safely with no damage to her back. A side benefit of doing these exercises was that she noticed a change in the shape and tone of her body. The exercises consist of small pulsing movements which are performed very slowly. These small, regular pulses work with the body to tone and lift the muscles. By targeting the deep muscles right at the body’s core, posture is improved creating a longer, leaner profile.
The classes are suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels. You’ll feel the difference almost immediately and you’ll drop a dress (or jeans) size in less than 12 classes.
