Jacquie Robertson BA(Hons)
An Honours Graduate in Graphic Design from the Glasgow School of Art, Jacquie Robertson ran her own successful graphic design company for many years. During that period she was juggling the pressures of running a business and being a mum. Jacquie takes up the story…
“Inevitably, the long hours and stress eventually took their toll on my body and my health suffered as a result. I developed severe lower back problems and spent many hours with various health practitioners trying to fix the problem.
A friend told me how Callanetics had helped her own back complaint and suggested that I give it a try. Within the first 3 months of starting the classes, my back condition had started to improve and I was hooked! A great side benefit was that I noticed my body was changing shape and I was becoming more supple and toned. Not long after I decided to take some time out from the daily ‘9 to 5’ grind and rethink my life. It was then that I decided to apply to the USA to train as a Certified Callanetics Teacher. It was the best decision I ever made!”
This year Jacquie is celebrating 10 years in business with Beaumont Body Shaping.
